MONACO ePRIX - May 9th, 2015

On  Saturday May 9th , the Automobile Club of Monaco will stage the first edition of the Monaco ePrix as part of its efforts to encourage the development of renewable energies. The Monaco ePrix will be the 7th round of an exciting new FIA international Motorsport series, featuring electric-powered single-seater racing cars.  It has 3 core values – Energy, Environment and Entertainment. It reveals a vision for the future of mobility in a racing environment.

Due to the Sovereign Prince’s strong personal commitment and to the actions conducted by his Foundation to promote a sustainable development and a transition to a low carbon economy, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation actively supports this new championship by being one of its official Foundation partners. The first edition of the Monaco e Prix will be presented as a free-entry event in order to raise the awareness of new energy solutions within the community and particularly within schools, colleges and universities.
