Press release
The 2024 edition of the UPAINT Monaco festival came to a successful close June 10th on the Promenade du Larvotto in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.
Once again this year, the UPAINT festival welcomed many visitors who were delighted to admire the live paintings of the 12 international street artists invited for the occasion: Alex (CA), Andrew Tosh (IT), Chanoir (FR), Cofee (FR), El Xupet Negre (SP), Harry James (FR), Juanjo Surace (AR/SP), Mathieu_1976 (FR), Mr. One Teas (MC), Nina Valkhoff (NL), Piskv (IT), and Sven (FR).
These
talented artists have joined the UPAINT family, each with their own style and personality,
and in the same spirit of generosity, they have proved once again that urban art can
embellish our spaces, inspire and raise public awareness of important causes.
As a
prelude to the auction, 31,000 euros raised during the previous edition were presented
to the Sovereign for His Foundation.
UPAINT founder Alberto Colman concluded: "This year, we are proud to continue our philanthropic tradition by donating the net proceeds of this sale to the Prince Albert II Foundation and, for the first time to the S.P.A., to support the construction of a new shelter for abandoned and homeless animals.
A new challenge for the UPAINT family, thanks to the fantastic team spirit of the artists, sponsors and volunteers.
