Landestini
?A social and educational innovation project on sustainable food for young people and their families. The project creates a link between students in Auvergne (high school, middle school and high school students) and young people in other countries on sustainable food issues in order to improve food knowledge and practices.
For two years, the young people work in class on understanding their local food system, through different workshops and a personalised curriculum developed by Landestini and validated by the teachers. They also participate in the management of an educational farm, through "hands in the soil" workshops once a month. Through videoconferences, emails and other applications, and exchanges via social networks, students from different countries correspond once or twice a semester on the issues of food, agriculture, fisheries and biodiversity in their respective territories. These theoretical and concrete experiences allow the participants, their teachers and their families to identify and compare the obstacles and, above all, the solutions for local sustainable food.
